The Association of Concert Venues of Catalonia aims to ensure the recognition of the need to protect, promote, and raise awareness of concert venues.
The idea of creating ASACC was born during the 13th Mercat de Música Viva de Vic in the year 2000, following a meeting of representatives from the most important concert venues in Catalonia, and received the support of all the institutions present. ASACC was founded with the goal of recognizing the need to protect, promote, and give visibility to concert venues. Every city should have a set of essential cultural facilities such as a library, a theater, and, of course, a live music venue.
Some of its members include:
Almodobar, La Paloma, Razzmatazz, Nova JazzCava, Sala Apolo, La Mirona, La Noite, and Sala Zero.
